You May Need Help pt 2
part 2
Control Freak
Are you a control freak? Come on, admit it. Maybe you are but don't realize it. Maybe you really aren't, but a friend of yours is and you really might not know it. By knowing the signs, you can help yourself and others with an effective, totally all natural treatment.
Having issues of Control not only affect a husband/wife relationship but others as well. Needing to control others affect relationship with your parents, children, friends, fellow employees and your employer.
As yourself, have you had a controlling parent(s)? You might be doing the same thing that your father done to you.
You can be sure you have a control issue if:
problems with authority figures
by not letting someone control you
by giving unsolicited advice
annoyed when they do not follow your suggestions
act as if your way is the bet or only appropriate way
get upset when others do not immediately agree or comply
In real life in many situations, someone has to be in control, but the key is in how they give orders and how you take orders.
Another thing to ask yourself is if you use any of the following to get your way:
violence
abusive behavior
demean others
Or, depending on your nature, you could resort to one of the following:
barking demands
manipulate with guilt or shame
If you anger easily, you have a control issue. Ask youself some of these questions:
Do you get furious when you don't get your way?
Do you think people will take advantage of you if you are not in control?
Do you have an attitude that says, “No one is going to push me around.”?
Do you think you have to be vigilant all the time so you won't be in danger?
Do you hate it when people don't do things the way you do?
Do you hate it when people are late (by a few minutes)?
DO you need to know what is going on at all times?
Do your kids and wife know who's the boss?
Do you insist that the house be kept in a certain way?Do you get upset when something is out of place?
Do you have an attitude that says, “In order to do anything right, I have to do it myself.”?
Are your own needs the only thing that is important to you?
If you have several of the above or beliefs like it, then you need to take control of your Control issues. One quick and easy way to do this is with Emotional Freedom Technique.

You May Need Help pt 1
You May Need Help and Don't Even Know It
Part 1
Have you ever talked to a family member or a friend about getting help for X and they deny they have a problem? We all have had this experience at one time or another. It's really sad that the person in question doesn't get the help they need.
Have you thought about yourself in getting help for X?
We all like to think that we are OK and maybe even perfect. It's just the rest of the world that is wrong. Have you ever thought about this about yourself?
Don't be afraid to admit it, we've all been there. Sure, we might admit that we have an emotional problem, such as fear. Or we might admit that we have a physical problem, such as lower back pain, but what about the rest or your emotions or physical conditions?
The best treatment in the world will not help if you don't freely and candidly admit an emotional/physical problem. Since this site is about EFT, as good as EFT is, it can not help those who deny they have anything wrong with them.
Let's take an honest inventory of yourself and find out what is wrong. Say it to yourself so no one knows about it. Then check out Emotional Freedom Technique and see what they can do. You can be sure that you were not the first one that has come through the door of your EFT practitioner with that problem.
Perhaps you really don't know that you have a negative emotional issue because you don't know the signs of it. This series of articles is to explore some of the signs of a couple of emotional problems and you check to see if that is you. If it's not, does this sound like someone you know?
Let's take a look at...
Procrastination
You might say something like, “I don't have procrastination as I don't put things off.” Putting things off doing is the outward sign of procrastination, but there are underlying conditions to that. If you don't know what they are, maybe you really do have procrastination. Here they are:
Perfectionism, anger, need to manipulate others, doubts about your ability to perform, fear of success, fear of failure...just to name a few.
Procrastination is a double-edged sword. By putting things off it reinforces your negative attitude about doing something. It leads to deeper feelings of self-doubt, guilt, inadequacy and shame.
For example, if you are a perfectionist and you know that you just can't make something perfect, you procrastinate so you don't have to do it. If you have self-doubts about your ability to perform, by not performing (doing what you know you should do), you don't have to face this situation.
I hope you can see how issues are related to each other. By just looking at one emotional problem, you may think, “I don't have this problem.”
Do you have the following self-talk to yourself that would include the following?
Procrastination keeps me safe.
When I procrastinate, I don't have to worry about failing or succeeding.
Procrastination allows me to control others.
Other people expect too much of me.
I hate to be criticised.
It takes to long to do things, so I'd rather not even start.
I like it when other people get upset I procrastinate.
I'd rather not do this because it will not be perfect.
What other self-talk do you have? Write it down.
As you know, IF you procrastinate it can hold you back in life, and you will not be happy living because you are not happy with yourself. Now, write down all the things that procrastination keeps from you.
Did you come up with things like:
causing a bad relationship with your family
loss of work
low pay
not being financially security
If procrastination is one of your issues, I highly recommend that you start with EFT. You will see how fast, easy and effective it is.

How to Have a Happy Child
How to Have a Well Adjusted Child
I hope that someday the public media will pick up on this article and broadcast its benefits to the world. The idea, in my opinion, deserves a prominent place on "60 Minutes", "Oprah", and every parent/child oriented publication on the planet.
Properly done, this idea will launch our children into an adulthood filled with high levels of inner peace and self confidence. If every child was given these benefits our eventual opportunities for world peace would far exceed those promised by our military and its bombs and other threats. Indeed, if everyone received these benefits skillfully, our military, bombs and other threats would likely become unnecessary. War is not needed for those who truly have personal peace.
The Basic Idea:
The basic idea is simple. Every night, while children are being tucked into bed, parents should ask...
"Can you tell me about your good and bad thoughts as well as the good and bad things that happened to you today?"
Then, as the events are being told (both good and bad), the parents should lightly and lovingly either tap or gently rub the EFT points.
Expected Results:
Experienced EFT'ers can readily see the benefit for tapping on the "bad" things (we'll talk about tapping on the "good" things later). As the child tells the story s/he is clearly "tuned into" the problem. Thus tapping on the EFT points is likely to resolve the issues or, at the very least, lighten their impacts on the child.
This is critical for children because they are constantly picking up "stuff" from parents, teachers, peers, television and so on. These inputs go on daily and accumulate over the years to fill what we adults often call our "emotional garbage bags." If these inputs go unresolved, of course, they form unnecessary "limits" and thwart the attainment of our true potentials. These unnecessary fears, guilts, griefs and traumas often have a thunderous effect on our "adult realities" and cost us dearly in both our personal peace and our pocketbooks.
Some examples of the "bad" things children might bring up would be....
"Daddy scared me when he yelled at me."
"I saw a monster eating people on television."
"My teacher doesn't think I'm very smart."
"I can't run as fast as Jimmy."
"Donna is prettier than me."
"The minister said I have to be perfect or God won't love me."
EFT is Like...
EFT is Like...
hypnotherapy but adds extra power to the process because it integrates the body's subtle energies.
talk therapy with the advantage that it allows us to get to the issues faster and resolve them more thoroughly.
massage therapy by adding an important emotional relaxation process.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it helps bring up the issues faster and creates more (and deeper) Cognitive Shifts behind the scenes.
hypnotherapy because it allows us to take the process even deeper.
Systematic Desensitization except that it is much more gentle and often faster.
our Chiropractic work because it allows us to include important emotional issues and to integrate the body's subtle energies.
an emotional version of acupuncture, except we don't use needles. Instead, we stimulate the meridians by tapping on them with our fingertips.
EFT is an obvious extension of Einstein's discovery in the 1920's that all matter, including the human body, is composed of energy.
When physical issues resist healing
When physical issues resist healing
Many clients would say that they don't have an emotional issue with X. Just ask them to 'play along' and when they do, they will be surprised when their healing occurs.
One of the most obvious conclusions you will get from consistent use of EFT is that there is an undeniable link between physical ailments and unresolved emotional issues. Our EFT Insights Newsletter is loaded with true case histories whereby physical pain fades while emotional issues are being addressed.
Often, we can apply EFT to a physical problem (e.g. "this headache") and watch it disappear in moments. Sometimes, however, the physical problem doesn't budge ... or ... it fades for a while and "comes back." This is usually evidence that there is an unresolved emotional issue behind it that needs to be neutralized. Once this is done, the physical pain is likely to be relieved.
I have a favorite question for playing detective in this regard. Once I have isolated a physical ailment that is resisting healing, I ask....
"If there was an emotional contributor to this pain, what would it be?"
If the client draws a blank then just ask them to guess. Their guess will usually take you in useful directions.
Please consult physicians on all medical issues.
Blue Monday
Blue Monday January 18
Today is called 'Blue Monday' because that is when the most people get depressed.
As I'm writing this, it is 'Blue Monday'.
Why is it today, 'Blue Monday'?
Some poll organization found out that there are several factors that make today a day of depression or stress. It's because it's after the holidays, so that does not cheer them up. Then it's a day when many credit cards bills come due. As you know, a lot of people charge things on their bank cards to pay for Christmas gifts.
Of course, the Establishment's solution is to pop some anti-depressant pills or see a psychotherapist. But if you looking for something that will get to your cause and not just the symptom, you've come to the right place.
EFT can take care of stress, depression and any other emotional problem you may have. EFT will not pay your bills, or get you a job or anything like that. But it will get you in a positive frame of mine to handle what problems you have. After all, your problems do have to be taken care of, so why not get in the best emotional state you can.
With EFT you will get fast, pain-free releaf - often in less than 30 minutes.
For more information on how this can be done, kindly email me (Craig) at: eftcyprus@yahoo.com and find out more. You will get a free consultation, so write to me now!
